2021년 12월 12일 이후 업비트에서 기존 거래 지원 중인 BTT는 BTTOLD(TRC-10)으로 분류됩니다.
TRC-20 프로토콜 업그레이드 지원 이전까지 업비트 입금 주소로 메인넷 BTT, TRC-20 BTT를 업비트에 입금 시, 오입금이 발생하며 복구가 불가능할 수 있습니다.
프로토콜 업그레이드 이전까지 TRC-10 BTT만 입금 가능합니다. 오입금이 발생하지 않도록 각별히 주의해 주시기 바랍니다.

비트토렌트(BTT)의 TRC-20 프로토콜 업그레이드 및 단위 변경과 관련하여 아래와 같은 지원 방안을 안내드립니다.

[업비트의 프로토콜 업그레이드 지원 방안 안내]

• BTT 측의 메인넷 런칭 및 TRC-20 프로토콜 업그레이드 진행 시작 시점 : 2021-12-12
• 해당 시점 부터 BTT는 업비트에서 기존 거래 지원 중인 TRC-10 BTT, 메인넷 BTT, TRC-20 BTT로 나뉘게 되며, 업비트는 TRC-10 BTT에서 TRC-20 BTT로의 프로토콜 업그레이드 및 단위 변경을 지원할 예정입니다.
  *2021-12-12 이후부터 기존 TRC-10 BTT는 BTTOLD로 구분되며, 업비트는 회원님들의 착오에 따른 피해를 방지하기 위해 국문명 및 영문명에 (OLD)표시를 추가할 예정입니다.
  *프로토콜 업그레이드 시점 이전까지 업비트에서 거래 지원하는 BTT는 TRC-10 BTT(BTTOLD)이기에, 메인넷 또는 TRC-20 BTT를 업비트 BTT 입금 주소로 입금 시 입금 반영되지 않으며, 복구가 불가능할 수도 있습니다.

[프로토콜 업그레이드 및 단위 변경 상세 안내]

• TRC-10 BTT 에서 TRC-20 BTT로 프로토콜 업그레이드가 진행됨과 동시에 BTT의 단위 변경(Redenomination)이 진행될 예정입니다.
• 스왑(단위 변경) 비율 : 1 BTTOLD(TRC-10) = 1,000 BTT(TRC-20)

[BTT 팀과 협의된 지원 방안]

• 원화 마켓 : 업비트 플랫폼 내에서 기존 BTTOLD(TRC-10)를 BTT(TRC-20)로 단위 변경 작업 진행
• BTC 마켓 : 업비트 BTC 마켓 거래 지원 잠정 중단
  . BTT의 전일 종가 7 사토시 (0.00000007 BTC) 고려 시, 프로토콜 업그레이드 및 단위 변경 후 예상되는 BTT의 가격은 약 0.007 사토시(0.00000000007 BTC)로 BTC 블록체인의 최소단위 미만
  . 소수점 단위의 사토시 입출금이 원천적으로 불가한 상황에서 소수점 거래 지원의 필요성이 확보되지 않은 상태임을 고려할 때 위 문제가 해결되기 전까지 BTC 마켓 거래 지원을 잠정 중단

[BTT 입출금 관련 주의 사항]

• 비트토렌트(BTT)측의 메인넷 런칭 및 TRC-20 프로토콜 업그레이드가 진행되는 12월 12일 이후 업비트에서 지원중인 BTT는 BTTOLD(TRC-10)로 분류됩니다.
• 메인넷 또는 TRC-20 BTT를 업비트 BTTOLD(TRC-10) 입금 주소로 입금 시 업비트 계정에 입금이 반영되지 않을 수 있으며, 복구가 불가능할 수도 있습니다.

[프로토콜 업그레이드 및 단위 변경 관련 진행 일정]

• 자세한 일정은 시장 상황 및 네트워크 안정성을 종합적으로 판단하여 추후 별도 공지 드리겠습니다.

[Notice] BitTorrent(BTT) TRC-20 Protocol Upgrade and Redenomination Support Notice

After December 12th, 2021 BTT will be referred as BTTOLD(TRC-10).
Mainnet BTT and TRC-20 BTT deposits to Upbit before TRC-20 protocol upgrade support may result in an incorrect deposit and recovery may not be possible.
Only TRC-10 BTT can be deposited before the protocol upgrade. Kindly make sure not to make an incorrect deposit.

Kindly read below regards The Protocol Upgrade of TRC-20 and redenomination support for BitTorrent(BTT).

[Protocol Upgrade Support]

• BTT mainnet launch and TRC-20 protocol upgrade date : December 12th, 2021
• Previously supported BTT will be divided into TRC-10 BTT, mainnet BTT, TRC-20 BTT, and Upbit will only support the TRC 20 Protocol Upgrade and Redenomination.
  *After December 12th, 2021 the TRC-10 BTT will be referred as BTTOLD and to avoid any mistakes the (OLD) mark will be added to both Korean and English name.
  *As the BTT before protocol upgrade is TRC-10 BTT, BTT Deposits from TRC-20 or Mainnet will not be reflected and recovery may not be possible.

[Protocol Upgrade and Redenomination Details]

• Redenomination will proceed along with the protocol upgrade from TRC-10 BTT to TRC-20 BTT.
• Swap (redenomination) Ratio : 1 BTTOLD(TRC-10) = 1,000 BTT(TRC-20)

[Discussed matters with BTT team]

• KRW Market : within the Upbit platform BTTOLD(TRC-10) will change to BTT(TRC-20) 
• BTC Market : BTC market support temporarily suspended.
  . Considering the closing price of BTT on the previous day of 7 satoshi (0.00000007 BTC), the expected price of BTT after the redenomination is about 0.007 satoshi (0.00000000007 BTC), which is less than the minimum unit of the BTC blockchain.
  . Considering that the need for decimal point transaction support is not secured, BTC market support will be temporarily suspended until the issue above is resolved.

[BTT Deposit/Withdrawal Notes]

• BTT will be referred as BTTOlD(TRC-10) after BitTorrent(BTT) mainnet launch and TRC-20 protocol upgrade in December 12th.
• Deposits from mainnet or TRC-20 BTT to the Upbit BTTOLD (TRC-10) will not be reflected in the Upbit account and recovery may not be possible.

[Protocol Upgrade and Redenomination Schedule]

• The detailed schedule will be announced after the market condition and network stability is confirmed.
• Upbit will work closely with the BitTorrent team to ensure the safety of your assets, and will update thorugh this notice in case of any changes.
